Our September Student of the Month is one of our adults, Marta Gonzalez! Marta has been riding with me for over a year now and she has been such a joy to work with! Not only has it been great working with her and her horses, but she has taught me so much as well! She opened the door to dressage for me and made it possible to learn so many new things in a new discipline with her Andalusian, Amado! It was such a fun challenge and I feel so blessed to have had that opportunity because of her!
Meanwhile she rode my POAs and it was wonderful to see her gain her confidence back in riding them. So the hard decision was made to make a change in horses. Marta ended up purchasing a POA I trained many years ago who is very near and dear to my heart, Pyro! Together the two of them are gaining confidence together and making new and exciting plans! Pyro is being introduced to dressage and Marta is learning more Western! I am so glad Marta has her confidence back on a horse now, she is such a fun and warm-hearted person; she and Pyro are one awesome team in our barn!
