Our August Student of the Month is Liv Kesic! Liv only started riding with us a little less than a year ago, but she has come a long way in a short amount of time! When she started as an 8 year old she was a pure beginner, but she had so much confidence and almost no fear from the start! When she started showing with us early this year she started only riding in the walk/trot Western classes and trotting through some gymkhanas. Now she has added English and bareback to her line of classes, and will try some loping classes in the fall as well!
Though she started showing on Cowboy she quickly progressed to her own mare, Mazie, and the two of them have become quite a team. Over the summer Liv continued to come out frequently and work with her pony, as well as keeping up with the older kids in summer camp. With Liv’s hard work ethic and confident attitude, she is going to continue to progress quickly! Another POA champion rider in the making!
